Seeking writer for mini-campaign; loose release window
Added 2019-04-08 02:51:08 +0000 UTCHey Squad! I'm currently looking for an RPG writer to create a short, 1-3 session campaign for LegendKeeper's tutorial module. I thought this would be a fun thing that someone could work on in parallel as I finish up the core functionality of the app.
The ideal candidate:
* has experience publishing RPGs for the 5th edition of the world's greatest roleplaying game, and has been paid for it
* knows how to navigate the Open Gaming License, and can create content that complies with it
* can create 5e content that can be setting-agnostic, but still takes advantage of the sexy, sexy maps and images I've had made for LegendKeeper's marketing/tutorial efforts.
* has writing samples readily available
Shoot me a message at braden@legendkeeper.com if you're interested. If you know someone who might be interested, tweet at them and mention @legendkeeperapp and tell them about my quest!
The writer I hire for this will be writing outside of LK, but we'll have a pivot point where we work together to port it over to the LegendKeeper format sometime around launch. I won't delay the app launch just for extra content things like this, but having it by launch would be neat. We'll figure that out as we go along... It does mean this writer might be one of the first people to test out the app, though. π
Sorry for the lack of dev updates lately; I'm at a point where there's tons of little things to do, and much of it isn't terribly interesting to write about. I'd like to resume cool dev updates once I actually launch and get back into major feature development, but for now, I don't think there will be any more in-depth technical posts. I've covered most of it and I'd prefer to focus on shipping this damn thing!
Now that we're closer, I can get a little more specific about release. Keep in mind that software estimation is ... more art than science, so take this with a grain of salt: I'm aiming to release by summer. I'd like to get testers into the app before that, but that's where I'm at right now.
Alright! Getting back to it. Cya!
