Part One
Adam was aimless. He didn't know what to do as he shuffled around the house, hands bracing his lower back. He hadn't had the place to “himself” in days, so he should've been enjoying the peace and quiet, but he seemed to have already gotten used to it not existing.
With triplets that were due any day in his now truly tremendous belly, even though he was “alone,” he wasn't lonely. Even though the babies were only capable of communicating with Adam physically, even when they weren't doing so, he was always aware of their presence. There was no way he couldn't be, and there hadn't been for some time.
The more Adam thought about it though, the more he had to admit he did feel lonely. Of course, there were the babies to talk to, which he frequently did, but since they weren't able to verbally respond, Adam found himself at a loss he hadn't in almost a week.
Since the countdown to the triplets’ arrival had been on for more than twice as long, it'd been awhile since he'd been left “by himself” for an extended period of time, without someone to actually talk to. Now that he couldn't, that's all he wanted to do!
“Come on, now!” He scolded himself aloud. “It's only been…” he paused to take his left hand from his hip, raise it and check the time. “Two and a half hours?! No wonder I'm bored!” He groaned. “What the heck are your daddies doing?” He asked his inhabitants as he lowered his hand and placed it on top of his swell.
Yes, daddies. Two to be precise, Adam not included… Adam had two husbands because he was one third of a “throuple.” The pregnant third. The presently very pregnant third to be precise again.
While throuples and various other forms of polyamorous relationships had become more common and accepted, the laws hadn't quite caught up. As such, Adam was only legally married to Marcus, but both men considered their third partner (who to be clear, was never considered “merely the third,”) Kevin, their husband as well.
While their relationship wasn't the most typical, what mattered most was that it worked for them. Aside from the throuple themselves, everyone who mattered most to them, all understood and accepted their relationship and treated it with respect. Not everyone had gotten onboard quickly or willingly, but eventually, everyone who mattered did, and now here the guys were, some four years into their marriage, about to become a family of six.
From the very beginning, Kevin, Adam and Marcus had all been in agreement: each of them wanted children. With three sets of genetics in play, there were many ways to set about accomplishing this, all of which were discussed. All three considered fairness and equality fundamental to the success of their marriage, so they quickly agreed that their end goal was to have a child that represented each “pairing.”
Marcus and Adam needed to have a baby together. So did Adam and Kevin, as did Kevin and Marcus. In short, they needed to have at least three children, ideally all at the same time so they could grow up together.
With that agreed upon, the next question became how to make that happen?
Following more discussion, it was decided that based on what each did for a living, it made the most sense for Adam to be the one to carry. Since the goal was to have triplets, Kevin and Marcus were out of the picture in terms of getting pregnant because Kevin was a general contractor and often up on roofs and/or ladders, or crawling around in tight spaces, while Marcus was a successful personal trainer and aspiring, hopefully soon-to-be successful bodybuilder.
Adam was “just” a teacher, making his job the “least physical.” The thought was that unlike his husbands, he'd be able to continue working during most of the pregnancy, and if they got their timing right (which thankfully, they did,) he'd only have to miss the end of the school year and would then have the summer off to recover and care for the triplets (with both his husbands’ help when they could, of course.)
Since none of the guys had any personal pregnancy experience to go on, it wasn't till after Adam had been safely declared pregnant with their three “tailor-made,” artificially inseminated embryos, that he started to worry… He was of course very excited that he, Kevin and Marcus’ family was now in the making, but given the size of his husbands, he couldn't help but worry and wonder about how big he was going to get and how much he'd end up weighing by the end of the pregnancy?
By the time this worry came into play, it was already too late, not that Adam would've taken anything back. That being said, he was the smallest of the three of them, coming in at 5'9” and 205 lbs pre-pregnancy.
Kevin was 6'2” and usually weighed in around 270 lbs (though he was known to really put it away around the holidays, which was his slow season at work, after which he'd usually end up sporting a good-sized belly.) Marcus was only 6’, but that didn't stop him from competing as a super-heavyweight bodybuilder…
Thankfully, his genetics matched his desires. As such, Marcus’ weight was constantly fluctuating… Depending on how close he was to his next competition, he could weigh anywhere between 275-325 lbs, most of which was enviable muscle, but some of which could be an additional, quite delicious, layer of fat if he was bulking.
But back to Adam, the “star” of our story, and the still increasingly brimming and bulging “apple” of his husbands’ eyes…
Now that he was only days (if even that long) away from giving birth to the triplets, each of which were expected to weigh over 13 lbs, Adam's weight had ballooned up to 323 lbs, bringing him very, very, very close to as heavy as Marcus could get during his off-season.
Since he was carrying such big babies, the (former?) second grade teacher was almost all belly, but not quite…
For three obvious reasons, Adam's midsection had done the most growing, but his ass and hips had undergone some significant expansion and development as well, but so had another part of his body… Over the last few months, his chest had really bloated up in order to feed him, Kevin and Marcus’ babies.
Not that he himself was actually that short, but in short, as the end of the throuple's pregnancy neared, Adam's dimensions and proportions had both come to be rather comical. They'd also come to be increasingly cumbersome to have to deal with, which was the main reason why he hadn't been left “alone” for any extended period of time in some time.
Yes, Adam could still manage on his own, but just barely now, as much as he didn't like to admit it. As such, it probably wasn't wise for him to have been given “free-range,” even if it had just been in his own house…
“OK, seriously though!” He huffed in impatience and annoyance. “Where are your daddies?” Adam asked the triplets as he continued his slow waddle around the first floor of the house.
“They went to Target to get some more stuff for you!” He said as he stroked the sides of his belly. “And then they went to the farmer's market to get some fresh corn, and then to the grocery store to get other stuff for dinner, so…” he paused to sigh. “Maybe they haven't been gone for that long, after all?” He begrudgingly reasoned as he tugged at the hem of his shirt, which had hidden up at least a few inches from his waddling and all the belly touching/fondling he'd been doing.
As much as he appreciated (and to a literally large extent, needed) all the extra attention they'd been giving him lately, Adam prided himself on remaining relatively self-sufficient during the pregnancy. He didn't like feeling or being needy or asking for more but now, he needed his guys there with him.
He missed them.
Just when he was about to pull his phone from his too tight shorts, the triplet-filled third of the throuple heard the garage door open.
“Finally!” He exhaled in relief as he grinned.
Not that he wasn't usually, but now, Adam was genuinely excited to see his husbands. For the past two weeks till today, at least one of them had stayed home with him if the other went out or was at work. As Adam's pregnancy neared its conclusion, the three men made it an extra point to spend as much time together as possible, knowing their time as “just a throuple” was about to end and then, there'd be children to love and tend to and they'd be a family.
Because of all of the above, Adam had been surprised when the guys told him earlier that they were going out together. He wasn't invited, which he didn't like, but didn't complain about, figuring Marcus and Kevin would hurry to do what they needed and then rush home to him, but they hadn't.
They'd taken their time but that didn't matter anymore because the guys were home now. Full, heavy and bloated as he looked and felt (because obviously, he was,) Adam stayed grinning from ear to ear as he lumbered towards the kitchen, ponderous belly leading the way as his heavily bloated tits bobbled about atop it.
“It's about time you're back! I was about to send out a search party!” He teased as the guys entered the mudroom off the garage, each with their arms and hands loaded with bags.
“I told you he'd say something!” Marcus groaned, throwing a glare at Kevin over his shoulder as he entered the kitchen and proceeded to carefully set his bags down on the island. “Hi, baby,” he said as he turned and smiled at Adam. “Did you miss us?”
“Of course!” Adam replied as he waddled over for a kiss from his biggest husband.
“A little help here, please?” Kevin requested as he entered the kitchen.
“One sec, baby,” Marcus said as he turned away from Adam, but not before giving him another quick kiss and several belly rubs, causing his shirt to ride higher up the rounded expanse.
“Thank you!” Kevin exhaled in relief as the massive personal trainer took some of his bags from him.
“Someone really needs to come see me at work more!” Marcus teased.
Kevin groaned and rolled his eyes as he set the rest of his/their stuff on the island. Once he had, he took in a breath, which he released as a sigh as he turned to face Adam, who he smiled down at.
“Hi, baby,” he said. “Sorry we took so long. Someone…” he started to say as he rolled his eyes again.
“Oh, no sir!” Marcus cut in. “Don't blame how long we were gone on me! You're the one who…”
“Boys…” Adam scolded his two “oldest” with a chuckle as Kevin pulled him in for a tender, albeit awkward embrace he accompanied with an equally tender kiss on the lips.
“I'm glad you're both home now,” he said once he and Kevin's mouths had separated. “We all are,” he smiled as his hands joined Kevin's on his belly.
The now half exposed orb had grown so big that their hands didn't come close to touching as all four rubbed, explored and caressed it. Even when Marcus came over and added his massive mitts to the mix, all six appendages didn't come in contact till the husbands all intended them to…
They did so at what remained of Adam's belly button. Prior to his pregnancy, it'd been a cute little innie. About halfway through, it'd transitioned to an outtie, and then had gone on to become nothing more than a dark splotch set amongst a sea of stretch marks.
“How do you feel, baby?” Marcus asked as he rubbed Adam's belly.
Adam was baby, Kevin was babe, and Marcus was honey.
“Good. Better now that you guys are home,” Adam replied.
“Did you get some rest while we were out?” Kevin asked as he too continued to rub.
“No.”
“No?” He frowned.
Adam chuckled and shook his head. “It's not like I went and ran a marathon, but no… I didn't exactly rest either.”
“Oh,” Kevin frowned a little harder.
“Sorry… Was I supposed to?” Adam asked, raising his brows.
“It probably would've helped!” Marcus replied with a small groan as he gave his other husband a look that silently said, See, I told you we should've told him!
“You guys are up to something…” Adam said as he raised his gaze from his belly and looked back and forth between Marcus and Kevin.
“No!” They replied in unison, like two little boys who'd just gotten caught doing something naughty, very much like many of Adam's former students.
“Bullshit!” He laughed. “Now one of you tell me what's going on!” He said, fully back in teacher-mode as he continued looking back and forth between them.
“So, um…” Kevin began. He was always the first to cave. “We had an idea…”
“No, you did!” Marcus was quick to correct. “But I did go along with it,” he was just as quick to admit with a nod.
“And that idea was..?” Adam asked.
“Come with me,” Kevin said as he took his hands from his belly and moved his right to take his expectant husband's left.
After Marcus took his right, the three (plus) of them headed into the living room, where Kevin brought them to a stop facing the fireplace.
“Notice anything different?” He asked as he used his free hand to gesture at the mantle.
Adam immediately did and subsequently frowned. “Where's our wedding picture?”
“We took it down before we left,” Marcus said before turning to him and asking, “You really just noticed?”
“Yes!” Adam laughed as he took back his hand and tugged his shirt back into place as best he could. “Why'd you guys take it down?”
“Because we didn't think it fully represented us anymore,” Kevin said.
“It's our wedding picture, Kevin!”
“Don't worry, baby…” Marcus jumped back in as he placed his hand on Adam's lower back. “It's nice and safe in the garage till we find a new home for it, which we will, ‘cause it is important,” he nodded.
“So if our wedding picture doesn't fully represent us anymore, what would?” Adam asked as he stared up at the large blank space above the mantle. “We have to have something there!”
“We do,” Kevin nodded in agreement. “So we, I mean I was thinking, now that we're just about a family, what should go there is something that represents that aspect of our lives.”
“OK,” Adam nodded as he continued to fumble with his shirt. It was one of his biggest, but it no longer covered his entire belly, leaving its lower curve fully exposed. “But we didn't do a paternity shoot like I wanted to, and we haven't scheduled a newborn shoot yet since we've yet to decide if we wanna pay for that either!”
Marcus groaned and rolled his eyes. “I told you we should've just done a paternity shoot, babe!”
“That guy was gonna charge us over a grand!” Kevin huffed. “My idea is way cheaper and…” he paused. “Different!”
“Yeah, it is!” Marcus grunted.
“Will someone please tell me what this damn idea is?!” Adam requested.
“OK, OK!” Kevin nodded. “Ready?!” He asked with a grin.
“I don't think he'll ever be ‘cause I sure as hell wasn't!” Marcus rolled his eyes again.
“What're you talking about? He's gonna love it!”
“He's standing right here!” Adam reminded as he looked between his husbands before settling his gaze on Kevin. “So..?”
“A belly cast!” He excitedly announced.
“A belly cast?” Adam repeated with a frown. “As in a cast of MY belly?”
“Exactly!” Kevin grinned and nodded some more. “Target sells kits to make them!”
“Huh…” Adam grunted as he looked from himself back up at the empty wall.
He understood what Kevin meant about their wedding picture not “fully representing” them anymore, but that didn't mean he wanted a cast of his massive pregnancy hanging on the wall in its place!
“That's, um… It's an… an interesting idea, babe,” he replied with a slow nod. “But…”
“I told you he wasn't gonna like it!” Marcus said to Kevin before turning to Adam. “I'm sorry, baby. I tried my best to talk him out of it.”
“He did,” Kevin confirmed.
“I'm sure!” Adam chuckled. “It's not that I don't like it, I just…”
“It's fine if you don't,” Kevin held up his hands. “It was just so much cheaper than the paternity shoot and like I said, different. Everyone has a family picture hanging in their living room, and I'm sure we eventually will too,” he nodded. “But in the meantime..?” He shrugged.
Adam sighed as he looked down and out at himself again. “It won't stay up forever?”
Kevin shook his head. “Only as long as you want it to.”
“So…” Adam sighed again as he placed his hands on his flanks, finding himself once again slightly unnerved by how far apart his belly kept them. “I guess if we're gonna do this, we should do it soon?”
“I was thinking now,” Kevin nodded. “The directions say it should only take half an hour.”
“Once everything's been prepared,” Marcus corrected. “That, and the directions were probably based per baby,” he pointed out.
“So what am I gonna have to do?” Adam asked.
“Just stand there and look cute,” Kevin winked. “Marcus and I will do the rest.”
“We should probably do it in the garage,” Marcus suggested. “That way we don't have to worry if we make a mess.”
Adam frowned. “What kind of mess could we make?”
“There's wet plaster involved,” the bodybuilder shrugged.
Of course there was.
“OK,” Adam sighed. “Garage it is.”
Kevin grinned. “I'll grab the stuff and bring it out there!” He said as he hurried back to the kitchen. “Honey, can you…”
“Yeah, babe, I'll go grab the stuff we need from upstairs,” Marcus said.
“What stuff?” Adam asked as he started waddling after Kevin.
“You'll see…” Marcus said over his shoulder as he took the stairs two at a time, his big, muscular ass bobbling deliciously in his tight short shorts.
“OK…” the triplet-filled man sighed again as he headed for the garage.
