I actually rewrote this strip significantly from my original outline. There was a joke calling back to the paddleball scene in the lab, but it wasn't really working the way I wanted to … and anyway, I decided it would be a good time to show that Pride still unconditionally loves Ocean, no matter what. :)

Awwww! <3 One again... Pride is the BEST. But this is charming and a very sweet departure from the cliches of this kind of comic. There's something unexpected and yet totally identifiable about someone going through a sudden physical transformation...and just needing a hug! <3
