I think they tortured Jellal by spoiling the ending of One Piece. Now Jellal has nothing to live for and will end the world! :p But yeah this arc is arguably the darkest one and shows that Erza has some emotional complexity to her. I mean her face said it all, the tower traumatized her and those other kids. And the etherion blast makes Jupiter look like a pellet gun. It is very much a magical nuclear bomb
