download: pico-8 christmas card - early access
Added 2023-12-10 10:18:59 +0000 UTCi was so annoyed with google play all week & not being able to get anything done on that front (still haven't! they won't let me update A TAVERN FOR TEA or one night, hot springs - & it doesn't seem like that will change any time in the near future...) so instead of just being annoyed with that i played with pico-8 for the first time in a while & made a lil christmas card instead!
it's very early for christmas but the card is already done so i wanted to share. you can go to the website in the qr code in the image OR you can click the link below:

haha, for me it was the opposite - i'd been browsing for pico8 games and found the original celeste ( https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=2145 ), so when i heard much later than celeste came out on steam &c. i remember thinking 'huh, cool that somebody ported a pico8 game to other platforms' 😂 - didn't realise it was completely reworked!

2023-12-10 11:55:35 +0000 UTCI first learned the word Pico-8 from the minigame in Celeste. Until this post, I thought it was a fictional game console that only existed in that game 😅
