It's clear that Midoriya writing wise has been greatly inspired by Spider-Man. From having Black Whip and Danger sense which he essentially uses as Web Swinging and Spider Sense all the way to being obsessed with saving people even to the determent of his own health. Now I see similarities to Black Suit Spider-Man, only with Midoriya it's not an alien suit corrupting his morals, rather it's him pushing himself too hard and not knowing when it's time to take a break.

2023-07-06 15:19:37 +0000 UTCWhen All for One said "It's your turn" he was making fun of the moment right after All Might beat him when he pointed at Midoria and said it was his turn. He's done things like that a few times in the past, using heroe's (All Might's in particular) phrases and mottos to mock and provoke his opponents.

2023-07-06 13:09:09 +0000 UTC"Now, its your turn" AFO stole All Might's Words to Deku after he lost the last bits of OFA back in season 3. But now its as official as it ever will be; AFO has his eyes deadset on Izuku. It is as All Might said to the young dood, he will eventually have to confront the greatest evil that hero society has ever known. I also just remembered that Mt Lady held Midnight's face mask when she was still recovering in the hospital. It hit me as I saw how "straight to business" her complexion appeared in this episode. She and Midnight had their back and forths, but Mt Lady respected Midnight and seemingly seeks to avenge her or at least do right by her name. Izuku seeing Nagant be nearly killed and AFO's message has pushed him to levels of anger that scare everyone. And its not that he's losing himself mentally, but he's pushing his body too hard. The spirit may be willing, but the body cannot keep up. Next episode is an emotional one, par for the course with this season, but I don't recall tearing up as much as I did for the episode. I think only Classroom Assassination's penultimate episode made me get that emotional. Season 6 is easily my favorite MHA season.
