november update - douZINE#3 releases sooooon!

hello! i am still recovering from some stressful stuff that happened in october, but i'm happy to announce that douZINE#3 is going to be out this friday november 10th - here's a timelapse video of the new cover! i'll be announcing this publicly later (i don't have the social media images ready yet hahaha) so you get to hear about it here first ✨

starting this time there's also a long-ish interview since i've made the paper size bigger which makes printing cheaper for some reason... (smaller paper was almost double the price 😅) so with the lower per-page cost i increased the zine by 4 pages which meant room for an interview!

for other stuff i'm working on this month

• still working on marron's day!!! progress has been slow but i'll share more screenshots as stuff comes together. i want to get a new demo ready for the end of the month because i'll be exhibiting at a retro game event at the beginning of december & lots of other gameboy devs will be there so i want to show off 👀
• exhibiting at digital games expo this sunday with marron's day! i've been at a lot of events lately to the point where i think it's a bit too much - hoping to go to fewer in the coming months so i have more time to work on stuff
• that said i'll also be talking in TAIWAN! which is incredibly exciting to me, i've never done a talk in a different country before. look at this dorky artist photo they have of meeee https://www.goethe.de/ins/tw/en/kul/sup/gam/03/np.html 😭

while i kind of want to do a small thing for yuri game jam, i also don't want to overwhelm myself this month since i'm still not in my best shape mentally so i don't think i'll have the spoons - but i'm excited to get back to playing around more in gb studio which has been my favourite dev tool of late!
