Marron's Day steam page is out!!!!!!!!!

as per title!!!!! i have been dealing with steam trying to make capsule images for like the past forever and it has been miserable but it is finally out!! the page is up! look at the cute capsule art i made for it in all the weird very specific sizes that steam requires that can't really be reused on any other site because the sizes are too specific and useless!

it's going to be a sequel to Marron Helps a Friend and i'm so excited because i have so many ideas for it and it's going to be so cute...

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2620590/Marrons_Day/

check it out / wishlist / share so everyone who wants to play can find it âœĻ (seriously please wishlist it helps a lot 🙏 even if you don't buy it on steam, wishlists on steam help increase visiblity so it makes a huge difference for small devs!)

i plan on also releasing on itch & if i can figure it out android, plus if i can manage the funds a physical cartridge!!! we will see!

No worries, then! I'm looking forward to the release :) I'm subscribed to your newsletter, so I'm sure you'll notify when it's out on itch. Your Ren'Py games have all worked perfectly on Linux for me, but I haven't had the chance to play a gb studio one. Lutris is cool, but I was actually a bit confused when I saw the website for the first time haha. It's a game launcher for Linux with many features. You can add games from your hard drive or download them directly from stores like GOG, itch, and Steam. It even includes emulators. I mainly use it for configuring Wine to run Windows visual novels I've bought from Japan, but it's good when I get to play a native Linux game!

no need to play the previous game! it'll be more like two games with separate stories but set in the same universe. right now i am only certain that i can get it to run on windows on steam - i haven't had a chance to test on other platforms so i haven't included them just in case! (and i'll also be releasing the game on itch, just i am not making the page until the game is released since itch doesn't have any way to "follow" a page or notify people when a game is released o:) also i had never heard of lutris so i looked it up but this is cool!

thanks but also no need to apologise for that! if you don't mind waiting a bit more i plan on also updating the original game to gb studio 3.0 (have it as an unlockable prologue or something for marron's day) if i can so that you can play it with my new font and stuff... but i'll have to see how much i can do!

wishlisted as both accounts! capsule is cute as always, hope everyone can find this cute little game! (sorry... i haven't played the initial one, but it's on my next!!!)

I don't buy on Steam if I can help it; I prefer itch or GOG. But I've gone ahead and wishlisted it. At the very least, Lutris expects banner images to be the exact same resolution as Steam banner images for some reason, so that means I can easily add it to my library by nabbing the Steam banner image. Oh, and I noticed the System Requirements only list Windows 7 currently. Will it be available natively on Linux/macOS? So, since this is a sequel, do you need to play the previous game to play this one or is it more of an expansion? It's taking me a while to work through your library of games, haha!
