As for this series I think the creators are just trolling with us with how much they put him on screen. They know people don't like him and they put him in the show anyway and make him even more annoying and well just wait for future seasons. 🤮Someone at Lucasfilm really enjoys watching us suffer. 🤣🤣🤣

2023-06-28 14:59:02 +0000 UTChonestly I think Jar Jar is probably more annoying in this series then the films, Jar Jar is only in 8 minutes of the first film, and like 2 minutes of the second and third. he's meant to be kind of the prequels R2-D2 and C-3PO, he's light comedy relief and slapstick, there's a few funny lines with Qui-Gon Obi-Wan's master, but that's about it, the rest with him isn't great, he doesn't... get in the way as much in the films though, he's more of a side character, animated jar jar feels a bit more obnoxious, honestly they kind of dialled up the problems people had with him in the films to 11,

2023-06-28 14:19:34 +0000 UTCRegarding Jar Jar, the Star Wars prequels were more targeted at a younger audience, so Lucas put him in to have the silly funny character to appeal to kids (and a lot of kids did actually like him). I'm guessing that since most of the Star Wars audience was older (given the original movies came out in the 70's and 80's) so he wanted to draw in new fans. This Clone Wars series is quite a bit more mature in its writing and subject matter than the movies, or at least it does as the series progresses
