I question how we should categorize "Talent" and ask what the difference between Talent and Hard Work. The official definition describes it as "natural aptitude (Ability) or skill". Under this definition along with considering the usual skillset of our everyday V-tuber from Hololive I think we could say Amelia is less "talented" than her senpai's and Gen-mates since calling her "Talentless" might not be all that accurate. Amelia however has shown to however be an incredibly hard-working person. Let me go into more detail about what I mean in this context, the usually V-tuber will have a relatively good singing voice, if you look up "Hololive V-Tuber Song" you will get English covers of existing songs, regular covers (sung in Japanese or other native languages) along with completely new songs written by some of these V-Tubers. Some of these are even collaboration songs like "Rise" a song sung by the Hololive English's Holo-Council. (Basically Kroni, Mumei, Fauna, Bae, and the now Graduated Sana) This song is written by someone named Noire (I don't know who that is sorry for my lack of info) and then we have the song "Non-Fiction." Sung by the first-Gen Hololive English girls. (That mean Gura, Calli, Ina, Kiara, and Amelia, that's right Amelia did some of the singing and she has improved immeasurably) I believe the lyrics were written by Calli but if that's wrong I hope someone corrects me on that. From all this it should be clear that singing is a big thing in Hololive. Now the other talent many a V-tuber has would be gaming, a lot of them plays games and even if they aren't that good at them some of them play them anyway. I believe the Japanese branch has a gaming group, but I can't quite remember what their called but regardless this is something quite a few V-tubers in Hololive do. Back to the topic of Watson, in the beginning Amelia wasn't the best singer and from what comments I've seen she also wasn't the best at gaming. Two talents that could have set her back quite a bit if it wasn't for her immense creativity and appealing personality. I think this is the Talent that helped make up for her failings and with the additional hard work she put into her singing and gaming, she became very skilled in those two crafts as well. Hard Work along with her hilarious personality and her immense creativity helped her stick out in a way despite her shortcomings. She's just a really incredible V-tuber.

2023-06-18 22:56:18 +0000 UTCI've seen DN YouTube videos before and they have good information I just kinda take issue with him saying Amelia is talentless I feel creativity is a talent and its one of her best, is she talented in the same ways as all the rest of her genmates no but that's the appeal of Hololive there are a ton of Talents and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses like Korone and Suisei are thought as some of the toughest members but both are terrified of bugs

2023-06-18 21:43:15 +0000 UTCYa the reason why I sent this instead of the usual Clip Compilation (like Gura, Kiara and Calli) is because there isn’t any made like that. This way you see what she brought to the table even though it’s isn’t directly her content being shown, in the beginning she wasn’t even decent at games and couldn’t sing a note to save her life but she became the creative backbone of Hololive English. Entire Music Videos and (as said in this vid) Entire VR Chat Maps were made due to her influence, she may not be Talented like the other girls but her Skills are undeniable.
