That Droid was like "It's only one ship, he can't get away" and Grievous responded with "bitch I said fire everything!" He knew better than to underestimate him.

There's a warship in the comics that is 3 times it's size called the Eclipse. It's basically if the Death Star was a warship instead of a space station. But when think how tough the Malevolence was even without shield, then imagine how power the eclipse is. Another thing, in the previous animated Clone Wars series, Grievous was a lot cooler and badass, capable of taking on several Jedi at once. But Mace Windu used Shatterpoint, a special Jedi technique that only Jedi who have found a way to tap into the darkside without giving in to it can use. It exploits weaknesses in anything to deliver heavy, crippling blows to the target. Grievous was subject to this, severely hindering him and leaving him with a constant cough due to damage lungs Also he had a more calm, lowkey sinister robotic killing machine voice rather than this grumpy nazzley booming chalkboard old fart voice and Revenge of the Sith's portrayal.

Oh, little background detail, that ring they attach to Anakin's ship is kind of based off a real concept on how we could achieve faster then light travel, a number of Sci-Fi series around this time in the 2000s actually use it including Star Trek Enterprise, the idea is the ring is used to generate a stable bubble around the ship that will warp space, compressing it in front of the ship and expanding it behind it. We currently think a bubble shaped sort of like an American football is the most practical method of it, I don't know the reason why, but it would take far less energy to produce and maintain, but the current energy output needed to generate it is astronomical, but theoretically possible.
