2023-06-08 18:15:51 +0000 UTCthe manga isn't finished yet, but it's just wrapping up now, they officially announced that volume 15 will be the final volume, and it should come out around October, that's why they made the anime announcement as well, because they know when it's ending. It's not 100% certain yet, but Sailor Moon and Chanel are doing a Collab right now, so they had an interview with Takeuchi were she's apparently said she has an idea for a new Sailor Guardian, I'd take it with a grain of salt obviously, because there's no guarantee anything will come of it, but after these 2 films are out they'll have fully adapted the main series, so the only things they could adapt at this point would be the side stories, Sailor V, or a sequel series. a ton of series have had revivals over the last 10 years, so it's possible.

I'm not 100% sure, I just know when I went on the wiki it said on-going, I'm not sure how it's looking manga wise if it feels near the end, but I wonder how they would finish clear card arc if it don't tho. Also I told my friend about Naoko Takeuchi apparently teasing something and he's intrigued now lol

I think you'll love Sailor Moon as well, you chose the perfect time to get into both series, I think Crystal is a good adaptation, just with some animation issues, but those aren't an issue with the films at least, Sailor Moon's final arc is being released as 2 films later this year and next, plus Naoko Takeuchi is apparently teasing something new.

2023-06-08 16:00:38 +0000 UTCSakura's able to accept what Yukito said is right, and be happy to see that he's happy with Toya, but it doesn't mean it hurts any less, love is... complicated, it's rarely logical. But Sakura was able to handle it well and accept that it wasn't meant to be. Also, note that it was Syaoran she went to for comfort this time, she didn't even go to her best friend Tomoyo, I love the little details. Oh by the way, just to show you some of the differences between Anime and cartoons at the time, they flat out state Toya and Yukito are gay at this point in the series, but for the original dub they completely cut out even the slightest hint of it, then there's the whole thing with Nakuru's gender. Anime was way ahead of the curve lol, and it doesn't feel forced or preachy. Though that original dub had other issues, like trying to make Sakura a tomboy, also yeah, they couldn't pronounce Sakura's name right lol.
