There's a lot of stupid short sighted things he did when Ranma was growing up, the cat-fu training, stealing Ukyo's kart, plus a ton more coming up and some the anime didn't reach unfortunately, like the Ryu arc. Still he's probably not the worst father in Rumiko Takahashi series, I mean... Mr. Fujinami exists in Urusei Yatsura and Sabato Rokudō in Rin-ne, now those are some real pieces of work lol.
