about emails
Added 2022-02-05 03:24:35 +0000 UTCalso i have a question!
so when i send out my emails they're always kind of boring (just plain text usually) & i was wondering, would you prefer them to look a bit nicer?
i'm thinking i could at least put like... an image of the game i'm sending in it, or something to make it look less suspicious. maybe my icon? (i had somebody message me asking if the email was actually from me last time since i screwed up and had a sketchy looking mojibake in the title so i guess my emails don't really inspire confidence 💦)
i'm not sure what else i can put in the emails to make them look a bit less sketchy but if you have any ideas or if there's other stuff you'd like to see in the emails let me know in comments!

i'll try to embed it in the postcard email i send this month (sorry if i screw anything up though!)

2022-02-08 14:51:46 +0000 UTCnow i'm just curious about what government mails in california look like haha. i don't get any emails from my local office since it's all snail mail

2022-02-07 00:44:57 +0000 UTCI don't feel your email is sketchy. I know how to recognize the sender, and similarly i am honestly just accustomed to receiving "non-official" looking emails. (the govt in California is surprisingly low-tech)

2022-02-06 17:54:33 +0000 UTCmakes sense! i think i could try adding an icon if i could figure out a way to add it inline nicely, hm. i'll have to test it out

2022-02-06 00:11:08 +0000 UTCI didn't vote, because my response wasn't included, but um, either/or. I don't think your emails look sketchy. I have really intense DMARC settings and your mail get's through fine. I don't know a huge amount about this type of thing (my business partner is the expert), but you could always get an S/MIME cert. / beef up your DKIM, SPF, etc.
