august update!
Added 2021-08-08 00:44:58 +0000 UTChello, it's august now so this is my update for the month to let you all know what i'm working on (:
- still working on a naninovel game for sunofes - you can see an in-progress bg for it in the image for this post! i'm very very slow with this because i've been having troubles with unity, so i'm thinking i won't actually have this ready for the end of the month unfortunately. i'll keep you all updated though!
- prep for september/october thing (i'll be able to share news about this with you at the end of this month but i'm not allowed to say anything until it's public)
- have to see if i can update android apps because apparently the billing process has changed and i need to update to a new library by november? i'm investigating into this now
- new translations for a year of springs! i have translations for two other languages in process now - waiting for text from translators but once that's done i will hopefully have the languages out in the autumn.
the september/october thing is taking up a lot of my time (there has been a lot of frustration for this behind the scenes & honestly at this point in time i'm wondering if it's even worth it... (i'm leaning towards not worth it right now, but i don't think i can pull out now so i have to keep doing it.) i'll post a proper post with my thoughts on this once i can though.
on a separate note, i found out that ko-fi is now offering monthly pledges like how patreon does it & i wanted to ask if any of you would prefer to pledge on ko-fi rather than patreon for any reasons. (right now i'm leaning towards to keeping to patreon only because it's easier for me to handle, but i would like to hear your opinions if you have any!)
anyway, it's typhoon season in japan right now (we had three typhoons in the general area just this weekend! one just passed by last night & the rain is terrible) but i hope that you are all staying safe this summer.

ah, yeah i wasn't sure about ko-fi since i think the payment methods are more limited! thank you for sharing your girlfriend's experience. (i reeeally want to complain about some of the september/october stuff because it has been a Real Drag!! so that will come in a later monthly update haha)

I also hope the weather in your area subsided a little, take care. (oh, and I don't know about other people but I'm ok staying on Patreon - there are VAT that make it a bit more tedious but this is where most content creators I support are, so, well. I'm also not sure all cards work to pay on ko-fi? My girlfriend had a few setbacks in trying to pay someone there recently, although it may just have been on her end)
