what i'm up to this july!

july has come (and so has the second half of 2020), so here's an update on what i'll be working on.

brainstorming ideas for new jam game & then starting work on it!
add a language confirmation screen for old games and see if it works...!
fix language selection text so i don't have to update every single translation every time i add a new translation to a game...
create a 'base' project with common translation files for different languages to use as a base for making new projects/updating old projects
update all my old games to have working mac icons (hopefully)
more translations for games

i'm going to be slowly brainstorming for a game (i'm thinking of maybe submitting it to yaoi game jam but i'm not sure yet if the idea will work) and mostly a lot of game dev housekeeping... a lot of my games were made when i was much less knowledgeable about coding than i am now and it's making it VERY ANNOYING to do translations, updates, &c. as a result it takes me much longer to update stuff than it should, so i want to fix my older projects to make this process go more smoothly.

(i know a lot of this is probably kind of 'boring' but getting this finally fixed up will make it easier for me to make better games in the future (i hope!).

the screenshot is the language menu i've updated for one night hot springs - i'm going to use this as a base to update all my other games as well.
