March Dev Update 1, Club Preview + Discord Server!

I’ll start by apologizing for the long wait since the last update. I’d wanted to get this out before the end of last month, but I forgot February is so short (oops) and the club stuff I wanted to show off wasn’t ready in time.

Discord

I’ve finally opened up a discord server for discussing the project. Largely only available to you supporters for now. Make sure your patreon account is connected to your discord account to get access: (https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Get-my-Discord-role)

On the server I’ll be posting preview images to go along with these dev updates where appropriate, and perhaps even some between updates so be sure to check often. You’ll also be able to find links to download the game, and will likely be the first place you can access new releases. And of course you can contact me there if you wish. If you have any feedback or questions about the server, please do let me know.

Progress so far

Since the last dev update, most of the time has been spent just writing the new events that will make up Jen’s content in the next release. I’ll keep these under wraps for now, because I’m sure you’ll agree that screenshots of word documents isn’t exactly the most compelling way to experience the new content. Most of them aren’t even coded into the game yet, as is typical of my process this doesn’t happen until towards the end for a release (don’t worry, coding them in is by far the quickest part).

Stripclub

I do however have a preview of the club manager mechanics that are coming in the next release (preview screenshots available on the discord). Those of you who have played the office manager content will find this pretty familiar. Though the mechanics do work a bit differently, to reflect running a whole business versus simply running a small part of a much larger company. It does still follow the same idea of assigning yourself and others various tasks for a work day, and will have it’s own equivalent events you can trigger with the other characters.

Grind the stats, unlock new upgrades, unlock new lewd things. Easy right?

Leading into this is a currently 8 part story from where the club content capped out. It’s excessive to put it mildly, but I hope you enjoy it regardless. It also serves as a bit of a story between you and Mel. Check out the screenshots on the discord and let me know if you have any thoughts.

Possible Delay

I wanted Release 3 to be out by the end of this month, but as it stands right now it may not be possible. With the work on the strip club it’s probably the biggest release so far in terms of workload. Hopefully once it’s done we can get back to more frequent releases. I didn’t want the wait to be so long, and all I can do is apologize for it. I’ll make sure to keep you up to date on when I think the next release will be dropping, once I have a better idea.
