Yeah when you pay real close attention to her dialogue you realize she knew about the reset's, the deaths. Like she asks if he'll cry over her corpse which Subaru did with Emelia so it's pretty shocking that the Witch of Envy's curse doesn't effect Subaru here so he's finally able to say what he wanted to say since he found out he couldn't share his secret to anyone.
