Writing Update

The Woman You Make Me, my current title, is up to 35k words now. I have 3 more major scenes and one transitional text sequence left, including the final transformation (of two) and sex scene. The first 27k words are mostly edited. I am Shooting to finish the story tomorrow or Wednesday, do one more quick edit (hopefully Weds) and then publish. 

This story has been hard to write. I'm not really sure why. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm experimenting with a new method of transformation here (magic potion), or with the fact that I'm writing about a gender-bending enthusiast who becomes a transformee, which is a bit out of my wheel box, or with the fact that I had to change my writing schedule from 3-midnight to 8am-5 pm recently and I've been struggling to cope with feeling exhausted all the time and not having a lot of energy to pour into the writing because i'm so tired every morning. Or maybe it's been all three things. 

At any rate, I'm excited to be finishing this story at last. I'm not sure how much I like it (better than some of my early work, and Finders Keepers, but maybe not as much as I, Werewoman and Holly for the Holidays), but maybe you all will read it and tell me what you think and it will help me understand the story and why I felt I had to write it a bit better. 

This story is straight-up erotica, and some of the most fetishy I've written. Maybe Outed at the Club and FInders Keepers (parts 1 and 2) are a bit more fetishy, maybe not. 

After about a month of adjusting to my new daytime schedule I'd like to say I have fully adjusted, but I'm still only churning out about 3k-4k words per day right now, which is a bit down from my norm of 5-7k before the schedule change, and I still have occasional days when I wake up and then fall back asleep, but I'm getting closer to feeling 'normal' in this schedule and I expect my productive output will increase the closer I get.

After I finish this story, I intend to write at least one Holly for the Holidays installment, and then depending on how I feel afterwards, either continue on with Holly  or do something else. and trade off. I wrote some 150k words for Holly in about a month just before the new year (roughly the equivalent of The Fellowship of the RIng), and got a little too close to burn out at the end. I need to be able to switch things up a bit more, bounce back and forth between stories instead of writing one story so much that I get kinda burned out on it. 

As much as I was looking forward to it, the Romance Novel thing is not going to happen right now. I need to Focus on weekly or three-times-a-month erotica releases, in order to stay afloat financially. If I can build my income up over 1500 or 2000 a month I'll be able to look into it again, but right now it's not a possibility. This does mean, however, that I'll be adding some Gender-Bending LitRPG installments to my story catalog soon, in addition to erotic-adventure stories like Holly for the Holidays and I, Werewoman and basic erotica like The Woman You Make Me and Finders Keepers. 

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know about the progress of stories and how I'm doing.
