Patreon and Apple iOS payment update

Received an email from Patreon, Apple is forcing Patreon to use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.'
New subscribers who subscribe via an Apple device will be charged a the tier price and 30% extra as the App-Store fee. This is why I suggest subscribing through PC or an android device, (not sure if something as easy as using a browser on an iOS device will also work), to prevent paying this extra fee.
I have no control over this and neither does Patreon or other creators. So avoid extra costs in a world that is already getting increasingly expensive when you decide to support me or anybody else on Patreon.
