Update!
Added 2024-01-16 22:35:26 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
Thank you so much for sticking around here through this unexpected speed bump. To the new members, thank you for looking for me and seeking me out! I adore this community!
I lost the first appeal. Through some research, I’ve learned that it can take several appeals, Tweets to Youtube, and emails to creator support to get any real answers or hope for restoration. Rest assured I will not give up and am already considering just starting a new channel or platform.
While I want to hold myself accountable if I did truly violate a Youtube rule, the more I think about it, the more I firmly believe this was a huge mistake on the part of Youtube’s AI detection systems. Here’s why I believe that:
1. I was recently welcomed into Youtube’s Brand Connect program. I don’t think they’d welcome me into this invite-only program if they thought my channel was on the fringe of “severely” violating community standards.
2. My channel has never shown nudity or anything even close to that.
3. The content and subjects of my videos have never been sexual or anything even close to that. While I won’t name names, I know there are ASMR creators who are extremely up front about the sexual nature of their content and they go unpunished. *I don’t wish for them to be punished! Just using them as an example to highlight why I think this was a mistake!*
4. This happens to creators of all shapes, sizes, genders, backgrounds, niches, etc. It’s a shame that my channel was targeted but this has happened before and I can learn from those who have dealt with this before me.
5. The video that started this whole deletion was an EXACT COPY of a previous video. The only difference was the voiceover (I made a whispered and soft spoken version). The first video was published and monetized without any issues whatsoever.
Even if I get my channel back, I hate the idea that Youtube can do this in such a cavalier fashion. I didn’t even get one strike while most channels are afforded three. I want my next venture to feel secure, if such a place even exists. I’ll be on the lookout and my comments and DMs are open to your ideas.
I am SO GLAD that so many of you are still here, whether it’s on Patreon, Twitch, or Instagram. I may have lost the channel, but we didn’t lose our community. I’ll find a new home for us soon enough, whether it’s on Youtube or elsewhere.

I feel so sorry for you. Your YouTube channel is one of the best on there also, you were so underrated and still are. YouTube has no respect for their great creators, they sale their selves to big corporate with very cheap customer service for the creators and viewers to used or talk too an AI. PayPal did that way back and I stop using them because I couldn't get the right help for the problem I had because the AI wasn't a human who could understand my issue. That from more than average tech guy. I wish we go back before 2016 (I meant getting my dates wrong) but, the ad revolt they destroy how YouTube was great and the golden age was gone. Sorry for going deep about it. Its not fair to you when your content was for all ages. On the other hand YouTube is the best way to grow your context and get recognition for your great work. I hope you win this battle against YouTube they right over line with this one.
