Rope Soloing & 2 shorts
Added 2023-07-01 13:01:01 +0000 UTC1st of 8 Posts for July: I got 270 episodes purged, 130 to go! It's a trip reliving 6 years of my life. Cleaning them up and updating some really outdated slackademics.com plugs. Abrasion tester is coded good enough for me to break test... the code, so Joe can fix it. I just operated 3 drops on my tower solo in 75 minutes start to finish. My goal is to be able to do 5 drops in 60 minutes. Polishing up the PDF scraper script for the website, not only to back it up but also have every ebook we do be available as a downloadable PDF.
ROPE SOLOING: This has been in the works for a while. It will compliment what Yann Camus is doing, not replace it. Kyle Strier wrote v1 and we turned it into what you see now which is a barely publishable enough version... BUT it's a solid start as Kyle and I will be taking Yann's course and consolidating key takeaways to add to the ebook. I'll be doing more soloing myself and once it's polished up a bit, we can start doing the long awaited specific break tests for roped soloists. https://www.hownot2.com/post/rope-soloing
