Useful followers! Future combat changes AND hotfix
Added 2016-12-05 20:47:26 +0000 UTCFirst, there was an error and Yoshika wasn't appearing in game, now he will! You can find him at random in the forest, and if you haven't had luck, by day 7 both him and Misaki should appear automatically. The link is in the main patreon page.
Now, to combat.
Although we wont implement this right away, because we want to make their role more interesting than just extra dps, at least we already have the basics to add up to two followers as escorts, since no Lord or Lady has any reason to wander alone through a forest full of beasts!
In general we will expand their use, not just for combat: They will have stats and skills, and you will be able to train them. There will be able too to take roles as ministers, army officials, among other roles.
This was just a test to make sure that the basics worked well, and they did, so for now I will stop the development of this to take care of the most relevant issues (this took me less than half an hour, since its pretty basic), but what we have planned is: There will be 3 different fighting skills* for escorts: Warfare (Physical), Tactics (Mental), and Seduction (Social), and their level will affect their abilities. Some NPCs will be just kinda mediocre in combat and good at civic stuff, while others will be great warriors and little else.
Warfare NPCs will be better at will damage, Tacticians will be support, either reducing the enemy defense, increasing yours, healing, etc. and the seductive ones will be support/lust dps . Hope you guys are interested and early feedback and opinions are welcome!
