I know it's a somewhat controversial stance to take, as some will argue that the "original" performances are always best. But keep in mind, in this style of animation, the drawing was done first, and the voices were added afterwards. So there really is no "original" version of the performances. Finally, the English acting was overseen by Disney, which co-produced the film, so it's really done well.

Also, the US release was dubbed by marvelous actors to an excellent English script, so even watching it dubbed you don't lose anything. FYI, some familiarity with the animism of Shinto will aid understanding of the details.
