RESEARCH - Born on the 4th of July

I definitely would be interested in a watchalong of this movie. It really is powerful. (And I remember being somewhat perplexed when it lost Best Picture to "Driving Miss Daisy" at the Oscars.) Not only is Cruise excellent in it, it's also got one of John Williams' best, most haunting scores. It's odd that I haven't seen any other reactor do this one (which makes me especially curious to watch your reaction). I'm not sure why that is. It stars Tom Cruise, after all, and it was very well received when it came out. Perhaps because the overall message of the movie which questions the wisdom of the Vietnam War is now considered too controversial? (Though at one time, I feel this was kind of a no-brainer stance to take.) But regardless, a reaction would be a nice excuse to revisit this strangely-forgotten film.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I will be watching Rick & Morty again. I have just taken a break to watch THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT and SQUID GAME. I have actually felt these Research polls have helped me determine interest and disinterest in certain movies. I don't want anyone to vote "yes" solely because they support me. I genuinely want to know if they have interest in watching these films with me. Over the next few weeks I'm finishing up special watch along requests from my first year of doing this channel while trying to sprinkle in movies that everyone wants to see, that would also be good for my channel. I have heard the rumblings that people want me to finish Rick & Morty though so I will be starting that back up for Patreon and YouTube as soon as I finish The Book of Boba Fett, and possibly sooner.

While I appreciate the dozens of opportunities to voice my opinion on which movie I would want to watch along with, I question the validity of this research. Since the people you are asking have already put their hard money down to watch your content, I fear the majority of people answer “yes” solely because they support you and not if they would like to see the movie in question. All the while, your viewers have not received a Rick and Morty watch through since December 16th.
