Yep, I was very tired when I started watching this movie. There is a lot of mold in the house that I'm filming in. That's why I moved out. But I still don't have my studio set up in my new apartment, so I have to film in my old house. The mold exposure makes me very sleepy 😴πŸ₯±πŸ˜ͺ

Aw , You sounded a bit sleepy at the end πŸ˜‚β€οΈ , I have never seen this movie before but since you reacted to it , I wanted to give it a chance and I gotta say it was a pleasant surprise , it's very simple with a low budget but pretty funny , I enjoyed it , I love movies that make me laugh too , Kazzy, you watched a lot of very intense stuff lately , so it's nice to see you just have a good laugh 😁 and I am glad I saw this with you , Your reactions are the best , I wonder what it's like to be with you in a movie theater , Kazzy just sitting beside you in all her ridiculousness πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

Ahahahahaha!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚You're AWESOME, Thomas πŸ€—πŸ’œ

Glad you enjoyed it, Kazzy. You're a better fan than I am. I am a huge fan of Carpenter and O'Bannon and consider this movie a part of film history, but I just can't watch it. I've tried a number of times, and made it 25 minutes in this time before I had to bail. God bless those of you who can give this film its proper due.

Oh I can't WAIT to see the new Dune trailer!! I'm definitely going to watch that on Monday night...so excited to see it. So this was Carpenter's student film?!?!!? WOW. IMHO, this is a masterpiece for a college student film in the 1970's. It was friggin hilarious, Joe πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Dan O'Bannon worked on Alejandro Jodorowsky's? NO WAY?!?! Why do I not know these things, ahaha?! I didn't even realize that Dan wrote Alien. Whenever I think of Alien, I just think of Ridley Scott. DAMN!! Sorry Dan O'Bannon. May he rest in peace πŸ™πŸΌβ€πŸ•Š I also didn't know that Moebius and HR Giger were brought onto Alien by O'Bannon....and Ron Cobb?!?!?! OH MY GOSH! I have gone shopping many times, for HR Giger's Aliens πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I need to rewatch this movie right away. Knowing all of this now, gives me so much insight into the talent these guys have and were about to express to the rest of the world. UNBELIEVABLE. Wow. Wow. Wow. So cool; I definitely felt tributes to 2001 and Dr. Strangelove πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―. And that beach ball Alien πŸ‘½ - πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ LOVED IT.

Aw, shucks, Kazzy! I was just watching the new Dune trailer and thinking about how that was where we started together, you and I. You mean a lot to me, lady. It has been a wild, fun, and really lovely journey and I am so glad that we're friends! I am happy you got some good laughs in with this one. it's a silly, but actually quite sweet film. This was Carpenter's college student film, expanded out (you can, on rewatch, see all the wigs to make their hair match on the reshoots). Dan O'Bannon, besides being Pinback, was also an incredible artist and special effects guy. As a result of the work on this, he got hired to do effects on Alejandro Jodorowsky's failed version of Dune (WE ARE HAUNTED BY DUNE, YOU AND I!!!) in the mid 70s. That was where he met the artists Moebius and HR Giger. When Dune failed to materialize, O'Bannon's script for Alien began to get some attention, and when Ridley Scott was brought on to direct, O'Bannon brought those two on to Alien, where Moebius designed those iconic spacesuits, and Giger, of course, designed all of the alien environments and the title creature. Ron Cobb, who designed the Dark Star ship (and all those great computer graphics and lettering) designed the Nostromo ship and all of the human technology. So this was the start of SO many great careers (also Greg Gein who built the Mothership in Close Encounters). As you can tell there is a lot of tribute to 2001 with the bombs being very HAL 9000, and also Dr. Strangelove, with the bombs being... very bomb-y, LOL! It's a real gem of a low-budget film. Filled with so much promise of things to come. And the best damn beachball alien ever committed to film!
