My main problem with the show is similar to the one I have with The Mandalorian. Each time a notable character is introduced I can’t help but feel that Disney is using the show as a launching pad for that character’s new show rather than as a real part of the plot.

2021-04-12 13:00:02 +0000 UTCThis threw me off at first, I thought this was the Episode 4 reaction as I didn't read it carefully, lol. I might have to rewatch 3 for the scene of Zemo dancing in the club. -- Episode 4 is where the plot really thickens, and that's all I will say. :)

I loved the Madripoor scenes, such a great Blade Runner/cyberpunk vibe and a lot of cool nods in that. Sharon is such a cool character in this show so far. Van Camp is having a ball with her being so cynical. She's the ultimate can-do agent and survivor. She'd be great in her own series. Daniel Brühl is really giving Zemo a lot of meat. he's having so much fun as well, and Stan and Mackie (Stackie!) are enjoying the ride, too. I LOVED the actor playing Dr. Nagel. It's such a weird performance that makes his single scene so memorable. Fun note: The actor playing Zemo's manservant on the plane? That's Joel's (Cruise's) dad in Risky Business!
2021-04-11 16:52:40 +0000 UTCPeople are mixed on it- it's love or hate to a big degree. I know one issue is that they had extensive post-shoot re-writes because the original storyline had a virus that was too COVID similar, so there are some awkward beats with regard to the Flagsmasher, especially.
