You guys are the lifeblood of keeping this thing sustainable and it's not just about the money but also the appreciation I feel from you for the effort. I generally post 1 video a week so I have time for more complex tests, projects, or general life but when I have successfully caught up and have a store of banked content, I like to post twice a week.
Last october/november I got to be part of a new show for Discovery Plus called Pushing the Line found at https://deadline.com/2021/05/slacklining-docuseries-pushing-the-line-sallyann-salsano-discovery-plus-1234750611/. Since that comes out June 5th, I am for the next few weeks posting 3x a week (or at least trying) to really leverage the algorithm and hopefully the channel will get over 100k subscribers before the end of the year.
I only click the "charge for this post" button on Patreon for full value episodes. If I do a monologue review of the 6 episodes coming out that is just to try to bump the show and I won't be charging any of you for that. I respect the donations you offer.
The most "full value" episodes I will post is 3x a week and that is very short lived because I burn through the banked episodes quickly. I have not missed a Wednesday episode in 5 years now and banking episodes is how I've done that. So I always keep at least 2 to 4 in the quiver.
I tinkered with investment videos on HowNOTtoHighline but after good feedback I decided to make a 2nd channel. If that is something you are interested in seeing, go subscribe to it at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHiQJ7Sp2jNC8JmkhDX7PJQ
I just spent 62 hours a mile deep in cave (sweet vids coming), drop tower is being worked on, big fancy dyno is 95% functional, the LineScale 3 we helped develop will be here soon making drop tests (non-breaking) a huge value add for the content, and I swear I'll get the 200 page new bolting bible out eventually!
Anyways, send a message so I know this a good way to communicate with you and what you think. I appreciate having you as part of my community! Cheers!
