Just came here to say that I totally think Lisa lives in her own world SO much that she didn’t even remember that Whitney had lost her friend. When Whitney initially approaches her to call her out, she’s immediately defensive… and after they were interrupted and they go to see the Monica stuff for the trip, you can see Lisa in the background completely wide-eyed. I think it’s an absolute visual of her being like, “Oh I DON’T love thaaaaat. I forgot her friend died for a secaaahhhhnd.” She’s spinning her wheels. Toooootally Team Whitney on this one… I’d be hurt too. I don’t think she overreacted, even despite her grief. Lisa is truly that far up her own Vida ass (but also she can’t ever change because it makes amazing tv for me).
