It is pretty clear that you cannot BASE jump in Yosemite. It is not clear that you cannot rope jump. There is a regularly rigged 100 foot rope swing off the top of El Capitan and and rope swing at the bottom. Other than those 2 lines, rope jumping almost never happens in the valley so that's why it doesn't have more clear rules. The Rostrum line we did went viral and I got no backlash for it. We might do 1 other rope jump in the future but it is so rare anyone does it or that I do it that it really isn't a concern for the park.

I am aware that the NPS has a "no jumping of cliffs" mandate so not sure it applies to you. By the way, the more I view your channel, the more I believe your "HowNOTtoHighline" raises awareness of the need for safety in the sport.
