Forces on a Slackline Anchor -How many kilonewtons of force do we have when we are slacklining

Michael Melner and I went longlining in the park to see what forces we would get on the dynomometer.

Visit the International Church of Slacklife at https://www.churchofslacklife.com/

Find slackers near you at https://www.slackademics.com/slacklin...

SLACKLINE TEST RESULTS

33 meter / 110 feet Spider Silk (static webbing at 2%)

Before we got on 4.50KN

I weigh 155lbs / 70KG and created 6.2KN all the way up to 8kn when bounce walking

Mel weighs 187lbs / 84KG and created 6.44KN

Feather Pro (5% stretch at 5KN)

Before we got on 4.12KN I weigh 155lbs / 70KG and created 5KN all the way up to 5.52kn when bounce walking

Mel weighs 187lbs / 84KG and created 5.22KN

NOTE1: 1KN = 225LBS or 102KGS

HEY PATRONS: I plan on putting the dyno on every highline I do and if the results are interesting enough, I will publish the results in a video. Let me know what things you want to see with the dyno and I will try to incorporate that into a video. Cheers!

That is pretty much what our other channel that my wife started is all about. The word church scares some people but it is pretty much what you just mentioned. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEyx_ebk7MxwjuuZ0xq92WQ

Ryan, what might be of interest to your viewers, including me, is to incorporate into your "HowNottoHIGHLINE" series is to feature some of your friends/family and their experiences with Highline/Slackline (Chase, Mel, Kim, Christian and others).
