Hope youre all doing splendidly. Excuse the lack of content / presence in the past couple weeks, just got into Australia and catching up with family! Have got a couple of new videos to come over the next couple weeks-into december.

Another topic would be how to best keep a sub level between notes in a melodic tune. I usually export to audio and manually level match the notes but wondering if there's a faster or more efficient way

2024-11-19 19:13:52 +0000 UTCbit late to the Q&A post so I feel like this wouldn't get any favorites, but still a valuable topic: one thing I struggle with, which is what I think separates GREAT producers from just good ones, is finishing songs quickly. I feel like it would be helpful to know how fast you finish songs - whether or not you send out for mixing anything to make it faster, etc. It would be a good benchmark to try and shoot for. When looking at your discography, even earlier in your career you really cranked out tunes, releasing I think 13 in one year at one point. that being said, any advice on how to finish a song faster would be very appreciated as well!

(For example, making them from scratch on serum + layering fundamentals + effects + how to make it “fit” into the track). Any tips on making a “good melody” would be nice as well, but mostly curious on the technical side of leads!

I’m still finding my flow with dnb production and at times feel myself getting stuck obsessing over details in my arrangement vs getting back to grooving and having some fun to find what’s missing.
