Programming can be tough. We work to a grid, it snaps, its easy, we move on.
One thing i see all of us struggle with is programming convincing flows. Its so insanely important to be in control and to really listen to whats happening inside the movement of the elements in our songs and to actively move and program these elements so that they FEEL right.

Hey hey!
Today we're making snares out of serum!
Snares from scratch have always been a bit of a weird one for me. I've resisted them for years and years, until recently i found myself wanting to WANT to know how to synthesise them. So this is my own little technique.
I dont believe this is 10000% necessary for producers to know how to do. But i've found it liberating (after 12+ years of producing) to be able to make my own (good and useable) kicks, and now my own snares....
