Hi peeps,
Here's another Daily Doodle Diary batch for you :)
I'm prepping for another market in July so have been a little busy with creating products and recording inventory for it, and I'll show you some of the small paintings I will be bringing in my next post, but here are some doodles I have managed to squeeze in in the meantime.

Really love the colours on this spread. I'm not used to vibrant, bright hues and they feel uncomfortable to use, but every time I do, I get a little more familiar with them.

I'm sketching with my Polychromos more and more and they are delicious.

Yeah, I know, this one is........extra weird? Sorry. Wasn't intentional T_T

These started off as studies from ref that I then added my own touches to.

Sorry if this one is a little uncomfortable to look at. My work doesn't often include explicit wounds but I occasionally find them cathartic to depict, often at times when I have flare-ups of pain.

This one might not seem like much but I love it because it was on a day where I felt deeply overwhelmed and the idea of doing a doodle felt like too much pressure. I usually try to at least think of anatomy and proportions when I doodle, even if not all the way up to the standard of a sketch or painting, but on this day, I just tried not to care and let me hand do its thing.
It might seem so trivial but it felt so incredibly good. It was just fun, that was it.

Sometimes, I have this urge to create jewellery again...

June 15 is my favourite drawing from this batch. You can't quite see it in the corner, but that says "infighting", which is what I had in mind while sketching it.

...I really want to animate my work...
That's it for this batch!
Do you have a fav spread/page from this selection?
