Question for future projects including ALS

As you know my current released projects are all using the stock version of ALSv4. However, I hope to change to a Replicated version with my upcoming projects. I will also be incorporating/re-merging my current projects to use the replicated version of ALSs.

Now, for the question: Would you guys rather have me use a C++ version of the Replicated ALS or a BP (blueprint) version of ALS. I know they are both technically C++ but the actual CPP version can sometimes run smoother. Its mostly placebo however, so I will leave it up to you all!

ALSO, if you are familiar with replication feel free to DM me your personal favorite ALS replicated GitHub repo/project file. I have tested only one so far but word has it that certain replications are better than others. Thanks and have a wonderful day/night.

Cheers! <3

Actually we tried the Faerie builds and it had issues. I would just use the main C++ version

I am so on the fence about this one. But the Faerie build looks Really Good and Unreal needs all the speed it can get when it comes to Multiplayer.

I just came across this repo this last week. So far it's been a good balance between Blueprint access to ALS and the latest updates from the CPP branch. I'm pretty impressed so far. https://github.com/Drakynfly/ALSV4_CPP_Faerie - All the features of the original. I generally keep this up-to-date with the latest release. - Flight support. This is the main point of this fork, and hence the name for it: Faerie ALS. - Swimming support planned. (Currently the framework is added but no animations) - Integration with other gameplay systems: Movement adjusts to world temperature (e.g, a weather system), and player weight (e.g. an inventory system). - Extra mantling features: Auto-mantling over short obstacles. - Easier project integration: there is no need to modify config files in this fork.

I don't know C++ Syntax at all so I'd be willing to sacrifice a little bit of performance over a finished product.

BP it is! <3
