FAQ - PATREON & REWARDS

This post should hopefully answer most of my frequently asked questions, but if it doesn't answer yours, don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll edit the post! <3

✦ PLEDGING

✦ DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE A TIER OR CAN I PLEDGE WHAT I WANT?
You are absolutely welcome to pledge any amount you want, but you won't be associated with a tier, so will receive no physical rewards, even if you are pledging an amount higher than the physical reward tiers. You should have access to any digital rewards (patreon posts) available to tiers below your chosen pledge amount.
You can also choose to pledge at a specific tier but not receive the physical rewards associated with it, you just need to let me know. 

✦ WHEN IS MY CARD CHARGED WHEN I PLEDGE?
Patreon offers two systems to creators for charging patrons the first time they pledge: monthly or immediately.
Monthly means that no matter when you start pledging, you won't be charged until the next 1st of the month. (I do not use this system)
Immediate means you are charged on the day you decide to pledge, gain immediate access to your rewards, and qualify for the rewards of the month you started to pledge at. You don't have to wait until the next 1st of the month to get charged (I use this system). 

✦ HOW CAN I CANCEL MY PLEDGE?
- You can cancel your pledge at any time.
- Do I loose access to your Patreon posts immediately?
No, you will have access to posts and rewards until the 1st of the month after you deleted your pledge. (For example, if you cancel on the 5th of March, you will have access to my feed and will qualify for physical rewards until the 31st of March. Your pledge simply won't renew on the 1st of April).
- Cancelling a pledge is not the same as getting it refunded. 

✦ CAN I CHANGE MY PLEDGE?
- You can change your pledge at any time.
- Upgrading to a higher tier : To upgrade to a higher tier, simply change your pledge and you will be immediately charged the difference and will qualify for your new rewards instantly.
- Downgrading to a lower tier : To downgrade your pledge, simple change your pledge and you will be charged your new amount on the next 1st of the month. You won't be refunded the difference and will still be able to access your previous rewards until a new month has started. (For example, if you want to downgrade from $20 to $10 and it is the 7th of March, simply change your pledge and you will continue to have access to your $20 rewards until the end of March, but will be charged $10 on the 1st of April.). 

✦ PHYSICAL REWARDS

✦ WHEN ARE PHYSICAL REWARDS MAILED?
- Sticker-only rewards get mailed either every month or every 2 months.
- Rewards with prints get mailed every 2 months on average.
(I don't charge extra for shipping or international so I space out mailings to reduce the cost of shipping.)

✦ HOW ARE THE PHYSICAL REWARDS MADE?
I print everything myself, and sign everything by hand.
Each Patreon print is also stamped on the back with the month they are a reward for.
I also cut all the stickers by hand. 

✦ ARE THE STICKERS AND PRINTS ONLY AVAILABLE ON PATREON?
- Stickers are initially only available for patrons. After 2 months, I might choose some designs to become publicly available on my shop, but most will stay exclusive to Patreon.
- 5x7 prints are entirely exclusive to Patreon and will never become available anywhere else.
- 8x10 prints may vary. Some will only ever be on Patreon, while others will become publicly listed on my store either immediately or with a slight delay. 

✦ I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REWARDS?
I am so sorry to hear that!
I will always try to message everyone once rewards have shipped, so if you have received a shipping notification from me, and feel that your reward should have gotten to you by now, don't hesitate to get in touch! I will always send you a replacement. If you are still pledging, I will send the replacement in your next reward shipment, and if you are no longer a patron, I will ask for your address again and will send you a new package (for free, of course). 

For reference, here are rough time-frames for shipments :
(I ship from the UK)
- UK : 2 days to a week. Get in touch if it has been more than 2 weeks.
- International : 2 weeks to a month. Get in touch if it has been a month since your notification message and you still haven't received anything.

✦ CAN I GET PREVIOUS MONTH REWARDS?
I'm afraid not. Trying to keep track of rewards is already rather complicated, so swapping out rewards is not something I can offer at this time, sorry.

✦ IS MY CODE VALID ON EVERYTHING IN THE SHOP?
Yes! That includes originals. :)

✦ IS MY CODE VALID DURING PUBLIC STORE SALES?
No, during shop sales, I temporarily deactivate Patron codes, but give ALL patrons a code worth 5% more than the the publicly available code (this code is always for a higher discount that patron codes also). I then reactivate Patron codes once the sale is over. 

✦ MY CODE ISN'T WORKING?
Get in touch! Sometimes problems can occur, and if I can't fix it, then I'll refund you what your code would have discounted, but manually, once your order is through. 

✦ OTHER

✦ CAN I COMBINE A STORE ORDER WITH MY PATREON REWARDS?
Yes, and honestly, to me, that is ideal, as it saves me both time, resources and shipping costs. However, that might mean that your order takes a little longer than normal to get to you, so you are welcome to not combine them if you'd rather I ship your order as soon as I can, or if I am taking too long. Just get in touch :)
