Hi everyone,
Here's another batch of my Daily Doodle Diary!
I tried to keep up with the doodles while I was on holiday, and oddly enough, I managed that better than keeping up with them after I got back home.
I missed a few days after we got back, mostly out of pure exhaustion and lack of motivation. There is something so difficult about getting back to the rhythm of things after a break, isn't there?
Plus, I have always found that after some time away, I feel a profound sadness once the experience is over. Does that happen to any of you?
When I was a makeup artist, I always felt deeply sad and depressed when we finished working on a film or series. Every holiday leaves me with a deep melancholy after they end and it takes me a few days to find my energy again. This time was no different, and it was difficult for me to find the energy to want to do anything for a little while...
Now I am better and back at it, and excited for the projects I have on the table, but it took a few days.

As you can see, I have been thoroughly enjoying using highlighters, haha. I even tried to do a whole drawing just with those (the fig, lower down).

13 and 16 were...lazy days...XD

The note on 25 is the reference I used for this sketch, a gorgeous sculpture by Seung-Chun Lim.
Anyway, that's it for this batch!
Do you guys have a favourite?
Mine are probably 10 and 25, although I have a soft spot for that fig too, haha.
Gosh, August was chaotic!
The next few months are going to be quite intense I suspect, but I am excited to share everything I am working on with you.
Thank you to all of you for being here, and welcome to those of you who joined us recently!
I hope you are all doing well :)
Take care everyone, speak soon.
