Small Paintings + Medium Painting PROGRESS

Hi everyone, 

So I've spent the last few days working on the small paintings I showed you previously, as well as the medium-sized piece I also mentioned. 

I managed to get all the small sketches inked, and 3 paintings finished, and I am nearly done with the final sketch of the bigger illustration. 

"Grandpa Medusa" and the Geode Head will be the stickers for July, I will make a post with a photo of the finished designs once they are ready.
The nest and whichever piece I manage to paint today will be the August stickers. 

I painted all 3 above with watercolours, and the outline was in acrylic.

I forgot to take WIP pictures of the geode partway through, haha, sorry about that. 

All these paintings will be in an upcoming Youtube video, so I have footage of each and will probably upload them as either individual timelapses or real-time videos on here at some point.

I also started working on a medium-sized piece that will complete the rewards packages for $20 an $35 patrons once finished. 

It is based on the sketch below. 

Here are some pictures of my progress so far, with the preliminary sketch on the left, and the partly finished final sketch on the right.
I want the snake to be bright gold, so I am drawing each scale on, which is taking...a while ( I always do this to myself)...but I should be able to start painting this week and I am aiming to have it finished next week and send all the rewards then.

And finally, I am also working on this bigger piece, which I started a few weeks ago but had to hit pause on because of Tether. 

I am very nearly done with the preliminary sketch. I took the sketch on the left into Procreate and worked on the face as well as scaled down the hand (right pic).

I am now at a stage I'm happy at, so I will probably transfer and start painting in the next few days.
I will also have a Procreate timelapse of some of colour mock-ups to share with you next month.

So lots going on!

My boyfriend and I have a holiday booked during the second half of August, so I will be very busy until then, as I want to get those small paintings finished and a video edited and uploaded before we leave. I also want to get the medium painting finished asap, and all rewards sent. I don't hold out hope for the bigger piece to be done, but if I could get it at least started that would be a win in my book. 

I also want to have some posts ready before I leave, that I can then schedule to upload while I'm gone, so that I don't go silent on you for 2 weeks. 

So I expect to be very busy the next few days, and I probably won't have much week ends up to then, haha. 

I am looking forward to our holiday though. We will be spending a couple of days with my family in France, which I am very excited about as I miss them tremendously (plus, they got pet quails this year and I WANT TO PET THEM), and then we are going down to the south of France for a week with some friends.
We used Airbnb credit from our cancelled April holiday, and flights were insanely cheap, so although I'm not doing all that great financially, it didn't dry me out, thankfully.
The pandemic does worry me, but we will be diligently wearing masks and won't be having much contact with anyone as we will be staying in airbnbs the whole time, including time with my family, so hopefully all will be ok.

I need that holiday in my bones honestly. I am finding it very hard to focus right now, I haven't slowed down since January, and I can feel the toll of, well, everything, getting heavier as time goes by. So a proper break will be much welcome and needed! I hope to be able to get some painting done while on holiday, so I will hopefully have some nice pieces to share with you once I'm back!
