Daily Doodle Diary #3

Hey peeps, 

Here are the latest drawings I did in my Daily Doodle Diary. 

I've been struggling a bit to keep up with it lately, because I have so much to do next to it, so a few days were done very late in the day, which usually means I just want to get it over with and have very little energy to do anything other than doodle.
But that in itself has been a learning opportunity. It has shown me that I actually do enjoy drawing even when I'm drained and exhausted, and that it actually helps me de-stress. 

Since art has become my job, it has been difficult to not associate drawing to working, which means it has been less and less something I have been leaning towards doing when I just want to relax and chill out, because I feel like it might stress me out and feel like work.
But strangely, having this doodle to do every day has helped me reconnect with the fact that drawing is simply something I enjoy doing, and that it doesn't have to be inherently connected to working. It's difficult to be put into words, but forcing myself to spend between 5 and 30 mins randomly putting pen to paper with no pressure to create something good, or original, or finished, feels a lot better than I thought it would. 

I still missed a couple of days, but I am proud to say that I am getting better, and I even managed to fit in some sketching while I was away for a wedding, in between waking up and getting ready.

I am truly loving this project. 

Day 7 is my favourite, Day 11 I want to turn into a painting,  Day 18 was really fun, and today’s went oddly wrong but that’s ok.

On another note, I have started my bigger acrylic painting, and will be posting work in progress shots soon. :)
I'd recommend checking out lenses or my instagram stories for in progress shots also, although I'll have a proper Patreon post with them all in it soon too.

PS : Question : Do you prefer when I embed the images in the post in between the text like I did above, or when I add all the images as a gallery at the top of the post, like I did in this post?
