Hi peeps,
Sorry for my silence, doing a lot of things behind the scenes, but unfortunately, a lot of it is admin I need to sort out before I go back to France for Christmas, as well as a few commitments such as sponsored videos and shop orders.
I hope to get some time to draw again (and maybe paint, I really want to try out my new acrylics!) very soon.
In the meantime, here is your November Sketchbook PDF!
As I said in October, I didn't have all that much time to sketch last month, so, instead, I compiled a PDF of my 2015 and 2016 Inktober drawings.
Those were the first 2 years I attempted to do Inktober.
I didn't complete it either time, but managed a few pieces that I now look back on quite fondly.
In 2015, I was on set on Game of Thrones at the same time, so I drew on set or in the evenings, but it got too much quite quickly, especially since I wasn't used to drawing regularly at the time. That sketchbook hasn't aged very well, and the pages have yellowed quite a bit, but I love most of those sketches.
In 2016, I wasn't working on GoT yet but was about to start (I worked on GoT usually between October and January each year), so I managed a few more drawings than 2015. I also was starting to find a more precise voice, and you can definitely see how my work was already evolving towards what I do now.
In fact, I didn't remember most of those pieces until I scanned them for this PDF, and I love how I have since revisited a few of those concepts! I seem to have done a tree face almost every year now, haha.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this little throw back :)
Take care lovely people!
