Inktober Day 16 + Failed Drawing

Hi peeps,

How are you all?

On this side, all is good. I took Friday, Saturday and Sunday mostly off, only getting orders ready and popping by the post office. I woke up Friday feeling incredibly exhausted and unmotivated but it still took my boyfriend sitting me down and forcing me to decide to take the day (and week-end) off in order for me to concede I probably needed it. Inktober is great, but this year has been tough, and having to come up with new ideas every day is very tiring, so I'm very glad I relaxed over the week-end. I did mostly nothing and it was rather glorious. I had to fight the guilt at not being productive, especially when I have so much to do, but also had to admit to myself I would probably have been more and more useless if I kept pushing. I'm learning peeps, I'm learning, haha.

Back to work today, and inking again!
My 16th drawing is the one you can see above, and is titled "Overflow". I think this one works well for the prompt "Dark".

I had also attempted another drawing last week, on the Friday I felt too tired to think, but failed. I thought I would share the piece with you anyway, as I had showed you the sketch. I haven't given up the idea, but I'll need to re-ink it, as I messed up the various textures somewhat. Part of the learning process :)
