Hi lovely people!
Sorry for my silence the past couple of days, I've been trying to catch up with my one missing Inktober day but I'm struggling to do so. I forgot to post day 14 on here the other day so here it is :

And I did finish day 15 yesterday, but didn't post it anywhere as I wanted to sleep on it and maybe tweak it in the morning. I didn't really in the end, I just added a few butterflies :

I am still one day late, but hopefully I'll manage to squeeze it in this week.
DISCLAIMER :
Remember that, as patrons, you get to see my Inktober pieces first, which means you also get first dibs to reserve one before I upload them to my shop!
I will be giving you all a heads up before I make them available to the public anyway, but in the meantime, feel free to reserve any pieces you would like if you have a particular favourite at any point.
Each original will be $80+tracked shipping, and your respective discount codes will apply.
Days 2, 6, 10, 13 and 14 have already been booked, but the rest is still available.

Right now, I'm splitting my time between Inktober and the sale and physical Patreon rewards. Printing, packaging and shipping everything is really labour intensive and time consuming. I do wish I had a couple of full days to spend on that so I can get it sorted, but I suppose it's my fault for overlapping the sale with Inktober. Lesson learned, haha.
I have finally printed everything I needed to print, and I should be receiving my new paper trimmer today, which I am very much looking forward to, because up to now, I was using a good ol' scalpel, and lemme tell you, cutting up 300+ prints by hand ain't nearly as fun as it sounds!
I have already packaged up a third of the orders, and prepared most of the physical Patreon rewards, so I now need to prepare the rest, and then process the items for shipping, print off the labels, and go to the post office.
My local post office is teeny tiny, and I suspect they will absolutely hate me when I walk in with over 200 letters, haha.
I had never had such a massive influx of orders before, and certainly wasn't expecting it, or I would've made sure I didn't organise the sale during my busiest time of the year! It has definitely taught me how to deal with it all the hard way, haha. But I'm getting there, and all in all, I can't complain if things go well, can I. :)
For the peeps with physical rewards, here's a little breakdown of what you will be receiving, as I realise things may have been a bit confusing lately :
♦ $10 tier : Anyone who has signed up for this tier at any point in the last 3 months will be receiving a welcome postcard of one of my sketches with a little hand written thank you from me on the back .
♦ $15 tier : Anyone at that tier will receive a welcome postcard as above, and how ever many postcards matches the number of months they have been pledging at that level, plus a Golem sticker.
♦ $20 tier :
- Peeps who have been pledging since August will receive 3 postcards, plus 3 8x10" prints, which will include Heart of a star (August reward), Cherish (September reward, or whichever they asked for), and Shadowed (October print, or whichever they've asked for), plus a Golem sticker.
- Peeps who've been pledging since September will get as above, minus one postcard and the Heart of a star print, and peeps who've been pledging just for October will receive Shadowed, or whichever print they've asked for, the postcard of the month and the sticker.
I hope this helps clear things out a little, I know things have been a bit chaotic lately, I promise my Patreon isn't this scattered usually, I'm just feeling the aftershock of the move, the sale, and Inktober hitting me, and I'm slowly regaining balance.
Once October is over, the rewards I talk about in this post here will come into effect, and in December, all will go back to normal, so the print of the month will once again be of the painting I completed the month before.
If any of you tool advantage of your patron discount during the sale, and are also expecting a physical reward, I will be packaging everything together, so you should get a nicely rounded and pretty package this month. :)

I'm sorry this is so late, but here's the October Sketchbook PDF!
It's obviously a little more sparse and messy than my usual PDFs, but I hope you'll enjoy this snippet into my work process anyway!
The very first sketch was for a very very strange commission that never concluded (and I'm not sad about it), and was definitely on the weirder side of things, hahaha.
The anatomy studies and sketches were for a video about anatomy exercises I put together for Youtube, and you can watch it here :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=im3QQVglUIk&t=230s
It got age restricted and demonetized quicker than I could say "monetization" but at least people are finding it useful. When they can access it...haha...ha...
There are a bunch of research sketches for Heart of a Star, that some of you have probably seen already, and then the last few sketches are very rough idea iterations for my first few inktobers, back when I was still organised about how I went by creating my drawings, haha.
You can download the sketchbook PDF by clicking the file link at the bottom of this post.
Anyway, this is all from me right now, I need to get back to packaging and catching up with Inktober, but I hope this little update will help show you that I am not forgetting about you, and am not laying back and doing nothing, not that any of you would be supporting me if you thought I did that I suspect, but I don't ever want to take you all for granted and I always strive to be transparent and communicative with you.
Thank you a million for being here with me, and for all your amazing support and lovely comments on my posts! I swear I read and love them all, and I would usually respond to everyone, but October is kicking my butt. I'll do my best to catch up once things slow down, promise!
I hope you're all well,
Love ya all,
M
