"Phosphones" Finished piece!

I feel like I haven't given you any news in too long, I am so sorry. The flat hunting is taking up all my energy and time, and I feel like I'm in a whirlwind of stress and condescending estate agents.
I did manage to finish this piece though!!!!
The tiny image here is frustrating to me, as, in real life, this piece is the biggest I have painted yet! It's 20x30 inches!
You may have notices that I changed its title from "Cocoon" to "Phosphones". That is just because it just felt more...poetic. And appropriate. I have other ideas for the cocoon title, so I thought I'd go for this instead. :) I'd love to know what you think!
This piece was painted in gouache and watercolour, with some acrylic for the background (my first time using those in....damn....9 years? hahaha). I even used some of my Acrylic gouache for some things! I'll do a proper piece with them at some point, and will give you some first impressions at once I've used them a bit more).
So here we go. I need to sleep now. But got to view another flat in an hour, so on we go, haha.
I submitted this painting to the Beautiful Bizarre art prize (just in time for the deadline today!) and I'll keep you updated if it leads anywhere! It's my first time submitting my work to anything of this scale, so I'm both excited and terrified.
I unfortunately won't be able to get the process PDF done before the end of the month, but don't worry, anyone who was pledging at the $5+ tier in June will get access to it, even if you changed your pledge since. I'll DM the file to anyone who is now under the threshold, but was above in June, if that makes sense.
Hopefully I won't be late again, I am so so sorry about that, it took me a lot longer to finish up than I intended.
