Unreleased Widow footage

Edit: It might not have been the worst thing: I sat down with Slayed and had a painstaking conversation with him about consent and what does and doesn't propagate harassment, and it's pretty plain to me that this is why I was recast. Sometimes this industry just sucks.

So I was Real excited to get a chance to work with Slayed (LOVE his style, have been wanting to work with him forever) and the Widow bit he brought me on for was satire of a real live woman being harassed and telling the world of her discomfort- the direction I took it was Far more in character for Widow, more insta-loss porn.

Turns out, he wanted her more skeeved out. I would've given him a retake, that wouldn't have been a problem, but he went ahead and recast, and I'm pissed. I shoved schedule around to those takes before I was gone for the weekend, gave a round of retakes, sat with the animator about consent for awhile... it just! It was a lot of work that turned into nothing, that won't see the light of day (except for me releasing it here. And I'm really proud of the work!!! It's very eyes-in-her-skull, out of her mind getting Super bred stuff! That so few will ever hear!) I should've been consulted for a retake before being replaced, and it's gonna make it uncomfy for the VA he gets to fill my slot. But! It is what it is, and he did apologize. As well as patronize with "I wanted to respect your boundaries"- I'm the only one who can speak for my own boundaries, he can't determine them FOR me.

So! My loss your gain, have some free Widow tsundere / insta-loss / eyes in her head breeding porn. Thanks for letting me vent, Patrons. It's frustrating, but... that's our business. No safety net, no actors union, just us independent contractors navigating the industry from the ground up.
