NOTE: I am honestly somewhat surprised with how the Voting for Top 5 is turning out so far. There are some characters who are being voted lower than I was expecting (which is okay!), and some characters who are being voted higher than I expected (looking at you, Kelsey -- but I also love it that she’s found her way into many of your top 5’s).
Don't worry! Even low-voted characters will remain in the story!

Wow wow what in the world, something is clearly up with Jessica which I assumed with how she was with Ren and wanting to be close to her, she was just too pushy. My only thought is if her tattoo signifies her dedication to unrecognizable then why is she sleeping with all these men, clearly Nicole understood and that why she would never have slept with Kai, she was sworn to him. But how could anyone have set him up period, who could have looked like him!? Wtf, thank God the next chapter is out.

But afer reading some of the comments, I agree she may not be human.As far as Mr Copleand havign some ability to compel people is doubtful as Kai would have picked up on it earlier. so as was suggestion maybe one of Kai's brothers or the legion. Back to Jessica though, Seems she migh be a little jealous or left out even a tad upset, as she is friends wih Sereniy and she is allowing Kai o be with the other women, she seems o be think she is thinking Sereniy will surely allow her man o be wih her as well as he others.

But I can't really see how that would be possible for her to dive into a demanding career as a police detective, have a full dance card of social and sexual encounters AND flit around ensuring the supernatural security of the city and Kai at the same time. Well, unless she doesn't have to sleep?

2024-11-04 04:22:32 +0000 UTCVery nice twist at the end. I'm assuming Kai is going to have to compel/charm Alicia to keep her quiet. So we have no shortage of suspects who could have framed Kai. His father, members of the Legion, one of his brothers (Daniel, Judah, etc) or even perhaps whomever was responsible for the cursed meat since Kai outed and foiled their plan. ::Edit:: One final suspect I'd consider, Mr. Copeland. I always suspected he was some kind of supernatural predator. He was victimizing Raegan and had *ensorcelled* Michelle, a beauty from a wealthy family. Said family conveniently died, leaving his wife the sole heir of a fortune. When she wanted to divorce him she almost conveniently died before the divorce was final. Michelle's stunt where she acted like she was fucking Kai behind the bedroom door infuriated him. Could he be using some magic or supernatural ability to try to counter Kai? Because I bet since Kai showed up to snatch away Raegan he said 'enough is enough' and this is a bid to reclaim Raegan.

2024-11-04 00:54:16 +0000 UTCIt's not a wasted vote, because this story can go any number of directions, and there are a variety of reasons why certain characters (like Miriam) could become less prevalent in the story if she was voted low enough compared to the others. If Miriam is in your Top 5, then absolutely include her in your Top 5. If she got no votes, I would absolutely be forced to reduce her (at least to some degree) or even drop her entirely. I could shift the entire storyline in a direction where she's just not needed anymore, if no one liked her or included her at least in their top 5, etc.

2024-11-03 23:25:53 +0000 UTCI would keep in mind that some of the characters have been featured heavily in the story and some have barely featured which definitely affects the vote. Miriam in my case given her backstory will always feature heavily so it was a waste of a vote.
