Progress Report Week 9

Sweet Affection 0.8.4

I think that I'm finally starting to get used to the new situation that we are in.

Work is going pretty smoothly and everything is slowly getting back on track.

I am almost finished with all the art for M&S their events, at this moment.

I only have to finish the 12PM Weekend event, but I hope I'm able to do that this weekend.

After that, I'll have to spend a good week writing all the events.

The work on Laura's events will continue once I'm done with M&S their planned content.

But, I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to complete all the planned content for this month.

And having said that, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a pretty big update this month.

Android Build.

And now that things are slowly starting to get back on track, I can finally spend some

more time on trying to fix the Android build.

We had to modify Ren'py to our personal needs multiple times already because 

Sweet Affection is way bigger than the engine normally can handle.

Because of that we are still using an older version of Ren'py and updating to a newer version has proven to be pretty troublesome.

At this stage, I think we tried every Ren'py version in existence.

We tried the advice of multiple persons that are specialized in Android builds, and unfortunately, we keep on having the same error.

I still have a couple more things to try luckily, things that I couldn't do before because of

the very tight work schedule that we have.

I'll keep you posted about the progress as usual, but I'm afraid that it's still going to

take some time.

Until then, I still advise everyone who experiences trouble with installing our Android build

to play Sweet Affection through an Emulator (Installing Joiplayer, and downloading the LQ Windows builds)
