I can see how some people started to fall off in the middle when they had to wait for the next year for the new season, but we got to binge through it and never suffered that feeling. DON’T BE SWAYED! The little bit of a slow feeling it gets maybe in season five is just a chance to catch your breath! Because it lights up and runs full steam after that all over again! Hoping you guys make it through this whole thing and I’m here for it all!

2025-01-03 03:24:48 +0000 UTCI grew up in Henry County- at that time it had 1 local grocery store, no fast food other than the Golden Arches along I75, after prom was at the single Waffle House, you had to drive to at least 45 minutes to reach a hospital, a movie theater, or a shopping mall. I went off to college to get out of that hick town…. And then everyone invaded and now you have Atlanta traffic where I used to play softball. ☹️

2025-01-03 02:27:34 +0000 UTCCharacter development in this show is amazing! In fact, the reason it’s so good is because it’s about the characters and their developments. The zombies and survival are just background. Btw- Mr. O, y’all know how hot mid Georgia is in the late summer. They shot this then. And, if I remember correctly, didn’t have air conditioning on set usually. The sweat- that’s real, lol. At least in the early seasons. You can watch cast interviews talking about how moving to Georgia to film with all that makeup and action- mostly outside- was like a shock to their system! LOL As a graduate of Henry County High (from waaaay back when the junior high did not even have air conditioning in all the rooms!!!), I always liked that because I think it made everything look more realistic. You can’t fake that drippy southern heat if you’ve never experienced it! Lol.

The key players, and Rick is clearly the lead, all have interesting arcs, its how this new world changes them that makes it an interesting show. By the later seasons those changes sort of faded away and everyone seemed to have locked into what they became, and that's kind of where it lost me.

2024-12-30 00:05:01 +0000 UTCMrs. O...Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick Grimes is actually a British actor if you can believe it (his southern accent will get questionable at times but it's ok overall), which is probably why you haven't seen him in much. I would say his second most famous thing that's popular in the U.S. is the movie, "Love Actually" which is good if you've never seen it. Also, I feel so bad for you having to watch this gruesome show at this time... bad luck there!! Please continue to look away when necessary, hahaha :)

THANK YOU! for taking this journey, as stated, not many do. ☆☆ GoT is my life now 🔥 🩸 but TWD is my OG show and was the only TV show I really watched outside of my niche lollipop movies. Originally, I watched for someone else! I had 0% interest in zombies! And still do! 🤣. I like the social and psychological behavioural effects & moral and ethical conflicts in choices, actions, consequences, etc etc .. Can't wait for Mr. October to get passed what he has seen ngl aha but definitely cool to see and hear Ms. Octobers first reactions and thoughts. It's actually great how lil Mr O seems to remember too! A few times it's definitely seemed like both of you were watching for the first time 👀 👀 lollol. Looking forward to s2! Keep up the epic work!! 🤩🤩
