Slow cavalry

"Ha, now you stand no chance, you small-head men, our cavalry is coming! It's round around the corner... wait for it... wait for it... oh, you're in so much trouble now... you just wait... they'll be here any minute now... you just wait... bear with me... "

Here's some more supportless mini goofiness:

  • Snail mount - bred so that part of its shell forms a comfortable saddle, because you need to be comfortable when doing painfully slow charges against the enemy

Small matters

"My kinfolk, as your new lord I'm going to make Dwarfs wonderful once more! That's why my first decree is that henceforth the Dragon Mountains shall be named the Dwarf Mountains! Also, from now on whenever anybody dares to ask any of our kin >>how are you?<<, the answer should always be >>I am wonderful, for I am a Dwarf!<<".

Dorfs

Hi folks! I had a short winter break in the warm country of the Pharaohs, I will certainly use the inspiration found there for some minis one time, but for now let's give some love to the dwarves. Can't have enough dwarves. Or dwarfs, but I prefer JRRT's version.

Big Bird

This last release of the year is just a single model, but a big one. It’s a great eagle, been requested for a while now, and I finally got to do one. My wrist is still sore from all the feather-placing. It’s supportless of course, a single print model.

Its neck is shaped so that you can fit any of my mounted models on it if needed.

Now you can try taking that little ring and casting it into the volcano from above without the need of a long and dangerous journey.

bauble babble

So, a few days ago my daughter came to me with a drawing and told me this is her new miniature design:

Basically, this guy wields a tree gun that shoots a tiny tree topped with a star, his special attack is throwing a bauble which turns into a companion who attacks in the same way.

I decided to modify the design to make it a bit less militant and open for interpretation.

Friends for life and beyond

They called the elf Long-o-laugh, because of his cheerful attitude. The dwarf was known as Grimli, because, well, just look at him. Their friendship, praised in countless songs and memes, survived across diffent worlds and universes.

Two sets of of elf-dwarf duo - fantasy and futuristic are available in the repository.

Next: some Wild West vibes among others.

Space, the terminal frontier.

It is said that within the bowels of some of the most remote and ancient abandoned space stations one can find the Terminals. They are sought by many not only for their ancient technology but also for their supposedly direct link with the Grand Calculator itself, the legendary grandfather of all sentient machines. The few who managed to find them weren't ready for the nasty surprise, as these devices are guarded by old, wicked robot sentinels, not only proficient in narrow corridor melee, bu...

The winged issue

You probably are familiar with glorious images of the Polish Winged Hussars charging with pair of wings strapped to their back, a magnificent sight to behold. However, in reality, Polish hussars - just like Balrogs! - did not have wings. Or rather, there are almost no historical accounts of them wearing wings into battle. They did however sometimes strap a single wing to their saddles, 2024-09-30 08:51:09 +0000 UTC View Post

Panta rhei

The last few days have been disastrous for a big part of central Europe. Heavy rains across Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania turned the streams in mountain areas into roaring rivers, which flooded huge areas. Lives were lost, property destroyed. Career choices

All his friends told him that becoming an adventurer-thief wasn't a good idea, but even when Sploot Kfloopstix found himself chased by robot sentinels following his slime trail, he had a backup plan. He knew that there was a bandit lair nearby, and bandits loved to hunt sentinels for spare parts and, especially, their mantles, which they sold as shower curtains in the less civilized systems.
