Inglorious Basterds (2009) Reaction!

Comments

Christoph waltz supremacy

Monkey D. Tomy

What’s even better, he basically plays the spiritual polar opposite of Col. Landa in Django Unchained and won in the same category again 🥰

Kiera Walker

I finally had time to watch this. I'm so glad yall enjoyed the movie this is up there with the best imo. Check out From Dusk Till Dawn sometime please youll recognize just how Tarantino built it is and totally enjoy it!

Josh Viz

Brad Pitt was born in Shawnee Oklahoma. He IS country.

Chad Snyder

damn we got stranger things, django, werewolf by night, and stranger things. thats a hell of a streak. A+ for me

Phil Tilly

Yall should check out From Dusk Til Dawn too. It's not directed by Tarantino BUT he was in the movie and I think he wrote the script.

ShittyShittyGameGang

Looked forward to this reaction and wasn't disappointed. In future viewings, study Christoph Waltz doing his Oscar-worthy performance. Two other fantastic WWII films: "Schindler's List" (based on real life), and "Jojo Rabbit" (a less serious take by Taika Waititi) Now I really can't wait for "(D)jango".

Jim Schmitz

oooohhhh that would make sense lol

Mr. October

Kill bill part 1 and 2 are considered 1 film out of the 10 I'm pretty sure

Josh Viz

Enjoyed watching this movie again and enjoyed your comments. Wild ride movie for sure and many parts I truly wished had actually happened!!

Kim

I think it's intentionally written to be interpreted either way. Throughout the whole film he's a character who gets off on having a leg up on people and messing with them. From my perspective he totally knew. And it wasn't because of a grand plan, its plainly because he enjoys it.

Kenneth thomas

thats my favorite tarintino movie. its so fun.

Phil Tilly

No he did not. But him ordering the milk is just chance and to make you feel she's busted. You could make a fan theory to say he did but let her go as part of the grander plan but there isn't any real evidence to say that.

Christian

great reaction as usual!!! and just so you know… you guys said it would be interesting to go back and see what it was like in that time? well occupation and genocide aren’t that far away since it is happening as we speak in palestine and has been happening for the past 76 years 😞 sadly I doubt tarantino will make a movie about it…

Jules

For a great WW2 movie from the German perspective, watch 1) Das Boot, made by Germans, and 2) All Quiet On the Western Front, a WW1 movie from the German perspective (a Hollywood movie).

Robert Nelson

Shoshana did NOT know about the Basterds plans.

Robert Nelson

i think we will try and get the movie bigger if possible

Mr. October

Django is next!! can’t wait for it too!

Mr. October

Called snuff.

Robert Nelson

so did he know it was her in the pastry scene?

Mr. October

This was a great way to show content with lots of subtitles. Great for upcoming Squid Games for sure.

Reaction Junkie

Christoph waltz who played the villain won oscar from hes performance.. and what makes it even a bigger deal is that this was hes first ever Hollywood movie. Before this no one knew him.

Monkey D. Tomy

I like this layout more! (camera in the bg movie in the middle) I just think you should make the movie a bit bigger

KER

I think overall Basterds is a ways down the list of my favorite Tarantino films, but as far as individual scenes go, the opening scene at the milk farm and the basement bar scene are two of the best things he's ever done imo. Those are two examples of how to f'n nail filmmaking.

Kenneth thomas

I've seen this movie no lie about 100 times lol I know every line and every detail and I dont get tired of it. My 2nd favorite movie of all time behind Good Will Hunting. Christoph Waltz in this movie who played Landa is an all time great actor. You'll see him star in Django as well and he is maybe even better in that.

Christian

we did eventually like right before he dies lol

Mr. October

Edit: It took you a little while to recognize private Zoller, but Baron Zemo is from from Civil War and Falcon and Winter Soldier. You figured out Magneto, good on that!

Peter K

fun fact amphetamines like cocaine and others were highly used during WWII and a lot of historians believe it highly contributed to the Nazis losing because Hitler was so strung out on it and irrational. So ya Brad Pitt took some bumps lol but to my knowledge it was more prevalent on the Nazi side.

Phillip Sellers

lol oops!

Mr. October

I think there was old world tobacco you could sniff.

Jesse Lee

and I want my damn scalps! such a great line delivered so well lol

Phillip Sellers

Ooh, nice Blade is on the list.
