2024-08-23 12:25:55 +0000 UTCif that were true then Max probably would’ve mentioned that when Lucas asks why he treats her the way he does. & If the implication was worse then Billy should be scared of his dad anytime he walks in the room or at the very least not give him any lip, but instead he was giving em attitude about his missing step sister like he wasn’t scared of the repercussions.

Song was released in 1984. Also, so many people hate on episode 7. El needed to find someone like her in this world. She connected. She learned things about herself. And did anyone notice her confidence grow by the end of that episode?

As a proponent of MH who thinks it's best left to the lifelong educated, I'm not even going to touch the parenting convo lol 🤐 But I will say go watch old shows with more than 4 seasons!!! 🙂

2024-08-11 21:54:07 +0000 UTCI think both of these episodes show how easy it is to channel negative emotions into horrible things. 008 uses her past and pain to seek vengeance. Billy uses his pain from abuse to abuse others. 011 had a choice. She has past pain and abuse....she could use anger to drive her....or she could use the love she feels for Hop, Mike and everyone in Hawkins. I think the whole point is that anger/pain can be motivation for everything in life.....but does it have to be? This entire story....with 008 could show again. I don't see it being a pointless episode. I think it may be important later. I always say "Feeling hate or anger for someone is like drinking poison and waiting for THEM to die. The only one who suffers is you."

I would’ve got a flying knee for forgetting to take the chicken out the freezer lol, forget losing my little sister and giving attitude about it and all he got was a slap.

No def not, but i did feel sorry in the sense that he has an abusive father, no one deserves to grow up like that.
